Sweaty season is in full swing, and I know I've been dripping every day. I hope you are coping out there in the heat.

Summer brings events, and I need new sweat friendly tops to wear with the Origin Mini Skirt. So, I’m sharing what I’ve found with you.

Disclaimer: I haven’t seen all the items in person, and that makes a difference when analysing the colours and patterns to tell if it will hide sweat. Bear this in mind if you decide to purchase anything I’ve recommended.

New sweat friendly clothes make me happy – knowing I won’t be panicking trying to find something that barely works on the event day.

You'll notice the majority of tops are silk. I picked them because silk is a natural, breathable material, and I know it works well for hiding sweat (depending on the print design) from past experience wearing silk garments.

A message about garment care:

Some of these items specify 'dry clean only'. Brands use this because a) the clothes might shrink, b) the clothes are very delicate, c) they don't want to risk getting a customer complaint if they say it can be washed but the washing goes wrong and ruins the item.

Personally, I've always washed 'dry clean only' items because with excessive sweating there's no other way to fully clean the clothes. However, I only ever hand wash the item myself, gently with delicate detergent. So wash at your own risk.
